Pegia Tea Rooms

Located in the heart of Peyia Village, Pegia Tea Rooms is popular with both residents and visitors alike. Pegia Tea Rooms is open from 8.30am, Monday to Saturday, serving a selection of breakfasts, light lunches and afternoon teas.

Pegia Tea Rooms is on the main road to Peyia just up from the Police Station, it is set back from the road and has a beautiful sunny garden to the rear with additional seating at the front.

Sam Burgess has been the owner and chef of Pegia Tea Rooms since March. Sam is a qualified executive chef and pâtissière with 35 years’ experience working in well known 5-Star International hotel chains such as Le Meridien, Hyatt and Park Plaza.

The breakfast menu at Pegia Tea Rooms includes the very popular Eggs Benedict, and also Spanish Omelette, in addition to the traditional English breakfast.

Throughout the day the Tea Rooms serve light lunches, salads, speciality sandwiches and wraps, traditional afternoon teas and dessert cakes. Sam makes all her own bread, savoury & sweet brioche pastries, savoury pies, not to mention the tempting delicious homemade cakes, desserts and scones... she even makes her own jam for the scones.

Gluten-free bread is always available and gluten-free pastries and cakes can be pre-ordered.

The Tea Rooms is available as a function venue daytime and evening, and can comfortably cater for 30 people inside and 45 outside in the peaceful garden at the rear of the property. It is an ideal venue for parties and celebrations, and also suitable as a meeting place for clubs & associations. Menus can be tailor made to suit the event, including finger buffets, salad buffets, fresh pies, pastries, soups and homemade breads.

Sam also makes cakes to order for any celebration with stunning designs.
